Sir Cliff Richard has signed on to a TV special with the BBC three years after suing the company for breach of privacy.
Earlier this year, the 82-year-old singer admitted he was almost too patriotic to sue the company for filming the raid on his home.
Still, everything seems to be going well between Beeb and Sir Cliff, as he will be appearing on BBC Two and iPlayer during the holiday season from Cliff at Christmas – a one-off show where he will show some of his Christmas classics, new songs and best-loved hits.
The artist will also speak with Sara Cox at the iconic Abbey Road Studios about his 64-year career as one of the best-selling music artists of all time.

Of the upcoming show, Sir Cliff said: ‘I remember, like it was yesterday, the three series (each with 13 shows) I did for the BBC in the 1970s. I loved every moment of them!
“Now I’m really looking forward to the Christmas show they’ve asked me to present, with the help of some friends, in December 2022.
‘My Christmas wish? That you will enjoy our show. Christmas greetings to all of you.’

Sir Cliff’s work with the BBC has been minimal since he sued the company, although in 2020 he was featured in BBC One’s Britain’s Favorite Carol.
He previously criticized the ‘heartbreaking’ BBC News report in which a helicopter was deployed to capture a police raid on his home in Berkshire in 2014.
Sir Cliff then took action against both the BBC and South Yorkshire Police. The latter apologized and paid him damages.
The BBC apologized but declined a payout, only for the case being resolved in his favour, ordering the Corporation to pay him £210,000, as well as £850,000 of his legal fees.
After deciding to star on a BBC show in 2020, a source told The Daily Mail’s Sebastian Shakespeare: ‘Cliff explained that he holds no grudges and that the only way in life is to move on and move forward. to go. His opinion is that all is well again.’

Sir Cliff spoke of his two-year ordeal in the documentary The Accused: National Treasures On Trial: ‘I prayed every night. You can’t think about it… how could anyone… [his accuser] do this?’
