A child star known for her role in an iconic ’80s Christmas action movie was spotted on a very rare outing in Oceanside, California on Wednesday.
Throughout the late 1980s and 1990s, the actress appeared in a number of films over the course of her career, including A Little Princess (1995) and Death Dreams (1991).
Before retiring from Hollywood, she also played small roles in television shows such as Roseanne and Get A Life.
However, her last on-screen appearance was in the short-lived series Kirk, which aired for a total of two seasons on the WB network in the mid-1990s.
And after years out of the spotlight, the child star was seen enjoying a quiet getaway just weeks before the Christmas holidays.

It’s Taylor Fry, 43, who most notably played Lucy McClane in the 1988 classic Die Hard, alongside Bruce Willis.
She played his on-screen daughter in the film, which also starred the late Alan Rickman, Bonnie Bedelia, Reginald VelJohnson and Paul Gleason.
The premise followed a: “A New York City police officer tries to rescue his estranged wife and several others taken hostage by terrorists during a Christmas party at Nakatomi Plaza in Los Angeles,” per IMDB.
When the film was released in theaters, it became a box office success, grossing approximately $140 million on a budget of approximately $25-$35 million.
Sequels soon followed, including Die Hard 2 (1990), Die Hard With A Vengeance (1995), Live Free Or Die Hard (2007) and also A Good Day To Die Hard (2013).
The first film is sometimes referred to as a holiday film due to its Christmas Eve setting.
During Taylor’s outing in Oceanside this week, she kept it casual for an errand with her husband, Clayton Pence.
She wore a dark green blouse that was partially unbuttoned around the collar and tucked into the waist of a pair of jeans.
