JB Gill and Lauren Oakley dance a Salsa to Red Alert by Basement Jaxx, before taking on the Paso Doble to Requiem for a Tower by Clint Mansell.

Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell bring the energy with a Charleston to The Blue Vipers from Brooklyn’s When You’re Smiling, before slowing it down with a Viennese waltz to Metallica’s Nothing Else Matters.

And last but not least, Pete and Jowita Przystal will perform an Argentine tango to The Verve’s Bittersweet Symphony and a Foxtrot to Bobby Darin’s Beyond the Sea.

It comes after Pete, 38, revealed he will be launching a new TV show following his stint on Strictly, which will follow him as he helps out at a dog home.

The new four-part series charts the highs and lows of rescuing and rehoming dogs and will hit screens on January 7.

The heartwarming ‘dog-u-mentary’, called Pete Wicks: For Dogs Sake, and produced by BBC Studios Entertainment, will follow the TOWIE star as he spends time at Dogs Trust in Basildon to help the charity save, rehabilitate and rehome puppies.

Viewers will see him learn all about running Dogs Trust’s rehoming centers and get involved in weighing newborn puppies, witnessing life-saving operations and even making the all-important ‘tea round’ for the hardworking staff and volunteers.

In addition to Basildon, Pete visits the charity centers in Harefield West London, Leeds and Ballymena in Northern Ireland.

Pete, a Dogs Trust ambassador, has supported the charity for many years and got his first rescue dog in 2008, aged 19, and adopted his dog Eric from a branch in Basildon in 2016.

He said: ‘I’ve wanted to do a show like this for about ten years. Dogs are at the center of my life and I’m incredibly passionate about animal welfare, so I’m glad it’s been filmed, edited and ready to be shown to the world.

‘It’s hard for me to even call it a job because it hasn’t been a job at all, it’s just something I really love. I hope viewers get a real insight into the lives and stories of these beautiful dogs, and the heroes and volunteers who care for them day in and day out.”

Owen Sharp, CEO of Dogs Trust said: ‘We’re so excited to have worked with Pete on this show and we can’t wait to watch it in the new year.

‘Pete really goes out of his way to champion the work of Dogs Trust and ensure more people know about the hard work that goes on behind the scenes at the charity’s rehoming centres.

‘We have no doubt that this fantastic TV program will lead to more people rehoming the dogs in our care and we can’t thank Pete, UKTV and BBC Studios enough.’

The Strictly competitor has encouraged fans to vote for his current flame Maura Higgins as she competes on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!.

He made the very public declaration of love to the Love Island star, 34, on Sunday after Maura finally confirmed they were dating.

Pete and Maura were spotted kissing Maura a few weeks ago after he cooled his romantic relationship with partner Jowita Przystal, 30.

And after their PDA-filled date, Pete urged viewers to vote for Maura with a funny meme of the bombshell on the ITV show.

He captioned his post: “I’ve been George of the Jungle, but now it’s time to vote for Maura of the Jungle” and shared a voting link in his stories to keep Maura in the jungle.
