Don’t expect Elden Ring 2 anytime soon
Elden Ring director Hidetaka Miyazaki said that a sequel to FromSoftware’s open world Soulslike is not currently being considered, Eurogamer reports this.

It’s clearly a hunger for more Elden Ring exists, but as we saw when FromSoftware followed up Bloodborne of Dark souls 3 and then Sekiro: Shadows die twicethe acclaimed developer tends to zig where most people demand they zag.
Further muddying the waters is FromSoftware’s potential to become part of the PlayStation family, while Sony is pursuing the acquisition of the studio’s parent company, Kadokawa Corporation, which could theoretically mean that another invested party will support the efforts of FromSoft begins to lead or otherwise influence.
