Edoardo Bove health update: Fiorentina star ‘set to be moved to another medical department’ after collapsing on the pitch during Serie A clash against Inter Milan

According to reports, Edoardo Bove will be transferred to another medical unit at Careggi Hospital.

Midfielder Bove collapsed and was taken off the pitch in an ambulance during his side’s Serie A match against Milan at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday evening.

Bove, 22, went down untouched in the 16th minute, with referee Daniele Doveri stopping the match to give him treatment.

The match was quickly suspended and the players returned to their dressing rooms while Bové was transported from the stadium and to hospital.

Bove was initially taken to the intensive care unit at Careggi Hospital in Florence, but it has now been revealed that he has been moved to a new ward.

“He has spoken to his family, the club management, the coach and his teammates, who all rushed to visit him as soon as they heard the good news. Further tests will be carried out in the coming days to determine what led to yesterday’s critical situation.
