‘Maybe he liked my wife more’: Former Real Madrid star makes incredible claim about PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and reveals why he left the French giants after just 12 games

Former Paris Saint-Germain star Jese has launched a furious attack on the club and its president, four years after his failed spell there finally came to an end.

The Spaniard left Real Madrid for France as a highly rated winger keen to improve his playing time after struggling against competition from Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale.

Expectations were high for the £21million star upon his arrival at the Parc des Princes on a five-year contract, with Jese making 28 league appearances for Los Blancos the season before and nine in a Champions League-winning campaign .

But things flopped sensationally for the winger after he was struck down with appendicitis and failed to return to the team. He made just 18 appearances for PSG during a torturous four-year spell on the sidelines.

The once prodigious talent became a journeyman and left for Las Palmas and Sporting Lisbon, among others. He even ended up at Stoke for the 2017-2018 season.

Now plying his trade for Johor DT in Malaysia, Jese has spoken out about his failed stint with the French giants and made some stunning claims about club chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi, in an interview with YouTuber. Mowlihawk.

He said: ‘If I had wanted to, I would have stayed in Madrid, but then the PSG option came up.

‘Besides, I didn’t have much playing time and I thought I would play in Paris. Unai Emery was the coach there and he was the one who called me.

‘Real Madrid had many new signings, I wanted to go to the European Championship [2016]I was about to go to the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

‘Del Bosque wanted to call me, but I got hurt. And PSG paid me a lot more. And don’t forget: I have already earned a lot at Real Madrid. When I first saw a million euros in my account, I thought: “All just to score goals?”

‘At PSG I started my first match with the decisive pass that won the match, but then I was sidelined for two months due to appendicitis. In January they told me I had to leave.

“I told Emery I felt like I was screwed. The chairman [Al-Khelaifi] didn’t even want to see me in person. Maybe he loved my wife more than me.

‘They didn’t give me any explanation. You could make a lot of money, yes, but they treated me very, very badly.”

Jese summed up the ideal by saying: ‘I realized that Real Madrid is the best club in the world in every way. At PSG it is a man who is a billionaire and uses the players.’

It is not clear what the Spaniard meant by his comment about his wife Aurah Ruiz, with whom he has been married for two years and has been together for some time.

Ruiz is an internet personality and was involved in the popular Spanish reality TV show Supervivientes.

She posts photos of herself posing while on vacation, dining out or spending quality time with her husband on her Instagram account, which has 650,000 followers.

Al-Khelaifi was once a professional tennis player before entering the business world, where he has risen to become chairman of beIN Media Group and Qatar Sports Investments

He has been CEO and president of PSG since 2011 and has presided over a period of great success for the French side, during which they have won ten league titles and signed megastars such as Neymar, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe.
