Helena’s after she paid tribute to her ‘beautiful friend’ Lisbeth McCoy after she sadly passed away earlier this year.

The supermodel shared a moving tribute to her decades-long friendship with the sculptor on Instagram.

New York Lisbeth died after a battle with skin cancer. She is survived by her husband Jason and son Charlie.

Helena shared a carousel of their friendship over the years, including a black and white photo from when she was starting her modeling career.

The model wrote: ‘Lisbeth, my beautiful friend. You flew to heaven far too soon and now you are in the arms of your dear parents, but you will be in my heart and thoughts every day for the rest of my life.’

‘There was no one like you, you were an enlightened unicorn here on earth, the sweetest, most loving mother to your beautiful son Charlie, the kindest, most thoughtful and loyal friend to me, always checking in, always thinking of everyone around you. ‘

“Hi darling” you always said in such a cheerful voice when we spoke on the phone. You were an incredible artist, but what was so unique about your art is that it came from every pore of you.”

‘You lived and breathed art and beauty, it was all around you, in the houses you had decorated so cozy and beautifully, in the way you danced, in the music you always played in the background, in the way you dressed so elegantly and timelessly, in every delicious meal you made, even in the way you served it, in the way you wrote letters and Christmas cards, in the way you wrapped every perfect gift I ever received from you …beauty was mainly in your mind .’
