Rebekah Vardy joins forces with I’m A Celebrity co-star to launch new Vodka brand inspired by footballer husband Jamie’s own recipe

Rebekah Vardy has joined forces with an I’m A Celebrity friend co-star to launch a brand new vodka brand.

While her WAG rival Coleen Rooney sits in the jungle in a slum contemplating a new meal of mild rice and beans, Rebekah has been enjoying a tastier drink in the form of her sweet alcohol creation.

The WAG, 42, and former football talent Dennis Wise, 57, will release SK-TL Vodka Shots, inspired by her husband Jamie’s Skittles-infused recipe.

Rebekah and Dennis formed a close bond when they starred together in I’m A Celebrity in 2017 and have been great friends ever since – their families even go on holiday together.

And now the pair have strengthened their friendship by going into business together, with the 37-year-old Leicester City striker the inspiration behind the fruity flavors – including strawberry lemon and orange – on offer following his penchant for cone sweets in a bottle of vodka to mix.

Rebekah talked about their drunken idea: ‘When Dennis came along, we had already done something. So I thought, how great would it be to bring the vision to life and create something that was really fun,” reports The mirror.

To launch their drinks project, Rebekah and Dennis filmed a humorous-style promotional video featuring Rebekah stocking up on sweets before enlisting her boyfriend to help her create a candy-inspired vodka drink.

The pair are then seen experimenting in a laboratory as they bring their vodka creation to life.

However, things go south when Rebekah forces them to dress in ’80s neon workout clothes, remarking, “This is what the people want… I’ve done worse” to an unimpressed Dennis.

As Dennis storms off, an intrepid Rebekah takes her vodka shots to a bowling alley bar, where she gets a bartender to try her latest creation.

After the impressed bartender asks the name of the drink, Rebekah watches Dennis launch a football across the bowling alley and knock over their vodka bottles.

Then she commented, “It’s called Kegel!” SK-TL’, with the bartender declaring: ‘I’ll take the lot!’ as he throws a wad of cash on the bar.

Rebekah added of her new project: ‘It’s a fun drink and shows that we don’t really take ourselves seriously and that we can have a laugh.

Dennis and I always got along very well. We are also very close as a family and the children are very good friends. I couldn’t have asked for a better partner to do business with.’

The TV personality told how she and Dennis not only put their names and faces to the project, but were involved in every step of its creation – from design and trials to the PR plan.

The neon-coloured bottles cost £25 each, but vodka fans can get a bargain with the offer of three bottles for £60. Proceeds from the sale will benefit an anti-bullying charity.

Speaking about the charity partnership, Rebekah told The Sun: ‘We wanted to choose an anti-bullying charity, one that educates children, young people and adults on how to deal with the onslaught of online cyberbullying. We both wanted to make sure we were giving back.

“We are in truly privileged positions, for which both of us, all of us, are eternally grateful, and you can never take that for granted. Likewise, many other people are not in the same situation. It also teaches our children a lesson. That you can earn some money, but that it is always important to give something back.’

The couple are planning a big launch party on Wednesday and have invited many of their I’m A Celebrity co-stars, including Georgia Toffolo and Jamie Lomas.
