Plastic surgeons explain rise of the ‘Mar-A-Lago’ face

There will be a new look on Capitol Hill in January, when the Trump administration officially takes office.

Many in Donald Trump’s inner circle appear to have gone under the plastic surgeon’s knife, creating what is now being dubbed the ‘Mar-a-Lago’ face.

Defined by the liberal use of Botox, a Miami bronze color, plump lips and silky skin, plastic surgeons told DailyMail.com it gave Trumpland an almost ‘plastic’ and ‘real housewives’ look.

Some have suggested that the shift in the appearance of Trump’s closest aides could be due to a desire to please the newly elected president, who has been accused of favoring attractive underlings.

Dr. Anthony Youn, a plastic surgeon in Michigan, said: ‘It’s something you’d see in Real Housewives stars, a combination of Botox and filler… that are mildly to moderately exaggerated.

“They don’t necessarily look distorted, but they don’t look like they used to either. It’s definitely a plastic look, maybe a Kardashian look.”

He said MAGA stars like Lara Trump, who is married to Trump’s third child Eric, have undergone the biggest facial transformations.

Others included Matt Gaetz, who was nominated as attorney general for nine days before withdrawing in disgrace, and Kimberly Guilfoyle, who has been engaged to Trump’s eldest child, Donald Trump Jr., since 2020.

There is also speculation that Lara Trump has gotten fillers in her cheeks and lips and a rhinoplasty or rhinoplasty.

Kristi Noem, 52, a Republican congresswoman from South Dakota who has been nominated to be secretary of Homeland Security, reportedly gritted her teeth in March ahead of her bid for a top job in Trump’s Cabinet.

“It’s all about her appeal to an audience of one,” Republican strategist Ron Bonjean told the paper New York Times at the time.

“The whole teeth thing almost seems like it was done for Trump. She shows him that she can work well in front of the camera, that she has the star power he wants on stage with him, while fitting into the fashion of women in the Trump universe.”

But Dr. However, Youn suggests that the shift in the appearance of the MAGA set is part of a broader trend.

“The calling card of being rich used to be expensive bags to show off,” he said, “but now it has almost become an expensive sight – we see it in younger people too.”

According to the Atlantic Ocean Trump is not a fan of plastic surgery and often finds the procedures horrible.

They reported: “Trump, who is generally appalled by plastic surgery, was disgusted when he learned about the apparent extent of Loomer’s facial changes.”

The effect also appears to extend to the men in Trumpland, with Matt Gaetz, 42 – former attorney general candidate – suggesting he had Botox in his forehead.

He showed up with arched eyebrows and a wrinkle-free complexion at the Republican National Convention in July, which plastic surgeons quickly said was due to using too much Botox.

“Matt is clearly one of those people who gets too much Botox,” said Dr. Corey Maas, a plastic surgeon in San Francisco. “If you can’t raise your eyebrows even a little, it looks strange and expressionless.”

‘In some ways it’s worse to have this in men because you can get to a point where the eyebrows fall below the rim of the eyes – which can make you look downright bad.’

Plastic surgeons said Lara Trump, 42, likely had Botox in her forehead, as well as filler in her lips and cheeks, which have plumped up over time.

They also noticed that her skin was much smoother, indicating that lasers had been used, and that it now had a more bronzed tone.

And about Kimberly Guilfoyle, 55, Dr. Joel Kopelman – a plastic surgeon in New York City – said she had probably had too much Botox, which had caused asymmetry in her face.

“Overuse or misplacement of Botox can weaken the wrong muscles, leading to brow ptosis (dropping) and possibly some asymmetry around her mouth,” he said.

‘While fillers can create volume and lift, overuse can also lead to a crowded or puffy appearance.’

He added: ‘Her cheeks and lips appear to have been significantly enlarged, which may have crossed the ‘too much’ line and could make the results less natural.’

There are also rumors that Trump’s daughter Ivanka has undergone plastic surgery.
