Giants quarterback Tommy DeVito set to miss Thanksgiving clash with Cowboys

The New York Giants are expected to be without Tommy DeVito for their Thanksgiving game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Drew Lock is slated to start under center for New York, with DeVito dealing with a forearm issue.

According to NFL NetworkDeVito – who recently replaced Daniel Jones – will test his arm in warmups on Thursday, but will likely miss it.

The quarterback initially stayed behind in New York for an MRI scan and other tests on his forearm before joining his teammates in Texas.

Rumor has it that DeVito could still play in Thursday’s game, which starts at 4:30 PM at AT&T Stadium.

The 26-year-old will pitch before the game. DeVito hurt his forearm after taking some big hits in Sunday’s 30-7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

It was the quarterback’s first start of the season after the Giants benched and then released Daniel Jones.
