Bachelor alum Cassie Randolph is engaged to Brighton Reinhardt four years after messy Colton Underwood split
Bachelor alum Cassie Randolph is engaged to musician Brighton Reinhardt, four years after divorcing Colton Underwood.
The former reality star, 29, revealed that her husband popped the question along the Newport seafront after taking a pre-dinner stroll with her family, according People.
As she approached the last cottage on the path, the TV personality revealed that Brighton “fell on his knee and asked, ‘Will you marry me?’
Pulling out a 5.04-carat engagement ring engraved with her first initial and birthstone, Randolph “instantly” remembered and said, “Oh my God, yes!”
“I was completely taken aback,” she admitted. “I had no idea.”
Reinhardt’s proposal was captured by Randolph’s friend, Krissy, who hid “a few feet away” and took pictures of them before going to congratulate them.

The couple were joined by both of their families and celebrated the moment during “an amazing dinner” at A Crystal Cove.
Randolph was thrilled that this moment couldn’t have been a “more perfect and special evening.”
Although they didn’t start dating until 2020, the pair were friends for about “five years” before they started dating.
She was previously in a relationship with Underwood, who came out as gay on April 14, 2021 during an interview with Robin Roberts on Good morning America.
After their breakup, Randolph filed a restraining order against Colton, accusing him of stalking and harassing her.
She was granted a temporary restraining order, but ultimately rejected it.
Her now fiancé seemingly addressed the incident in a 2021 song titled Creep, which was released in 2021.
The song’s lyrics read, “You can’t stop thinking about my baby / What was once yours in the world is changing / God, I hope you’re thinking right / GPS on the bottom / Told her that everything’s alright comes / Damn, I can’t believe these guys

In his interview with Robin Roberts, Underwood expressed regret for the role he played in the end of their relationship.
“I made mistakes at the end of that relationship, and I ruined the good memories we had because of my actions and what I did to stay straight because I didn’t want to look myself in the mirror,” he said. “So for that I’m very, very sorry.”
Last month, Underwood and his husband, Jordan C. Brown, announced the arrival of their first child together.
The couple welcomed a son, named Bishop Colton Brown-Underwood, via a surrogate on September 26
