Baldur’s Gate 3 will receive another massive update in 2025
Cross-play enables multiplayer between every platform the game exists on, from PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X to Windows and Mac. Photo mode offers a variety of camera, lens and scene settings, as well as post-processing effects, frames and stickers to make your party look as cool, cute or menacing as possible.
Moreover, every Baldur’s Gate 3 class will have a new subclass to choose from as they level up. For example, subscribing to the College of Glamor gives Bards more abilities to heal allies and charm enemies, while the Monk’s Drunken Master subclass revolves around consuming alcohol from your inventory to increase their abilities.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Developer Larian Studios isn’t ready to commit to a final release date for Patch 8, but… Baldur’s Gate 3 players can get an early look at these upcoming features by participating in a stress test tentatively scheduled for early January. Despite being an open book about the future, it will not come true Baldur’s Gate 4 or even downloadable content for Baldur’s Gate 3 — Larian Studios clearly wants to wrap up development of the 2023 Game of the Year with a bang.
