Discovery Channel star Chad Ollinger ‘arrested after motorcycle chase and foot pursuit’
Chad Ollinger, known for his role on Discovery Channel’s Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch, was arrested in Texas after an alleged run-in with police that involved both a motorcycle chase and a foot chase.
The reality star is now facing two charges: evading arrest with a vehicle and evading arrest on foot, according to reports from TMZ.
The incident happened late Monday night around 9 p.m. when Ollinger, riding his black Harley Davidson, allegedly drove through a stoplight in front of an unmarked police car.
Authorities tried to stop him, but Ollinger initially refused to stop, leading to a brief chase, the outlet reported.
When he finally stopped, he allegedly ditched the motorcycle and fled on foot, with police quickly giving chase. Officers were able to apprehend him and arrest him shortly afterwards.
Speaking to TMZ, Ollinger commented on the wild encounter, saying, “All I know is this one thing. It was quite a ride until I got off that Harley crossbone.”

Ollinger was booked into the county jail but was later released after posting bond the next day.
Just days before his arrest, Ollinger had shared an Instagram post celebrating the Season 4 premiere of Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch, asking fans, “Let me know what you think.”
He had also posted a celebratory video in August to mark his 40th birthday, thanking the Blind Frog Ranch crew for the party.
‘Thanks to the #blindfrogranch crew for the birthday party! Here we go, 40 years old,” he captioned the clip.
Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch follows Ollinger and his father Duane as they continue their quest to unearth a long-rumored treasure hidden on their 160-acre estate in Utah’s Uinta Basin.
For more than a decade, the father-son duo and their team have been digging through the property, convinced that an ancient Aztec fortune worth millions is hidden inside.
In the new season, Chad and Duane are joined by returning team members Eric Drummond and Charlie Snider, as well as an expanded team of treasure hunters and experts.
As the season progresses, they face countless obstacles, from strange phenomena to setbacks in their search for the elusive treasure, according to the Discovery Channel.

Ahead of Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch Season 4, Chad opened up TV insider about the life-threatening risks associated with the team’s treasure hunting adventures.
“I don’t want to push it too far where I die,” he said, recognizing the dangers of their pursuits. ‘Although without risk there is no reward. I’m definitely going to keep pushing and putting myself in tough situations, which you’ll see this season.”
Recalling a particularly tense moment, he said: ‘One time we were in a cave and it got very scary very quickly and we had to get out of there. That was close.’
The show, which combines history, mystery and high-stakes excavations, was created by Scott Hunter, whose previous credits include Off Limits and Alien Encounters.
