Travis Kelce tells Chiefs fan to ‘sue the f***ing Panthers’ after scary fall from the stands
Travis Kelce has told the young Kansas City Chiefs fans who fell from the stands in Carolina on Sunday that he should sue the Panthers.
Chiefs defense Tershawn Wharton came to the rescue when he tackled a young fan who fell from the stands at the end of the game.
Footage went viral of the young Chiefs fan waving at players as they left the field. Kelce could even be seen in the corner of the frame.
But when Wharton took off his gloves to throw at the young fan in question, disaster almost struck.
The child, wearing a Nick Bolton jersey, reached out to take the gloves from one of his heroes when he appeared to trip and hit his head over the edge of the stands.
Fortunately, Wharton was nearby and appeared to catch the boy and help him climb back into the stands.

Speaking about the New Heights incident, Travis Kelce joked that he should sue the Panthers
Regarding the incident on this week’s episode of New Heights with his brother Jason, Kelce said, “I actually saw this and I just kept it moving. I felt bad once I found out.
‘I don’t know who the smart guy was that cut the railing there. See there’s a little gap? What the hell is that for?’
Jason interrupted, “Who knows? Maybe the Panthers are anti-children.”
Travis continued, “Dude, he should fucking go to school with a neck brace on and sue the damn Panthers. Get rich quick, boy.
“Shoutout to Terk (Watson) for making sure the little guy was okay. When I saw Terk was there, I knew everything was okay.”
Wharton broke his silence about the incident on the Pat McAfee show on Tuesday, saying it was a “natural reaction.”
‘It was a natural reaction. When I leave a game, I usually try to throw my gloves into the crowd.
‘I heard my name for a moment and then I saw him coming down.

“There were two guards there, but I don’t think they realized what I was doing because they were watching us, but I just had to push him into the stands a little bit so he didn’t hit too hard.
‘I grabbed him by the back of his back and pushed him a little further into the stands.
“I haven’t spoken to him yet, but I’d like to get in touch with him and take him to a game and think with him a bit more if I could.”
The Chiefs narrowly defeated the Panthers on Sunday at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, with a late field goal by Spencer Shrader giving them a 30-27 victory, moving them to 10-1 on the season.
The 26-year-old Wharton is in his fifth season with the Chiefs, with Kansas City signing him in 2020 after he went undrafted.
He played at the college level for Missouri S&T and has played in every game for the Chiefs so far this season.
The Chiefs have a shorter turnaround time than usual after Sunday’s game.
The Super Bowl winners return to action Friday at Arrowhead Stadium in a divisional matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders.
