Krispy Kreme unveils three new holiday donuts… but only for a limited time
Krispy Kreme has unveiled the ‘Merry Grinchmas Donut Collection’, adding three new donuts for the holidays.
Starting Friday this week, the new holiday donuts will be available in Krispy Kreme stores nationwide, with each donut based on a character from Dr. Seuss’ famous story ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’.
The Grinch Donut is filled with ‘coal’ cookies and cream and topped with green icing and a chocolate grin.
The Grinchy Claus Donut comes with chocolate icing, white buttercream and a Grinch-shaped candy accent.
The last of the collection is the Cindy-Lou Who Merry Berry Tree Donut, decorated with strawberry-flavored icing, a green buttercream tree, sprinkles and a candy star.

Their holiday collection is also accompanied by the returning Santa Belly donut which is filled with white ‘Kreme’ dipped in red icing, a black icing ‘belt’ in the center with a gold ‘buckle’.
The Holiday Sprinkles donut also returns, decorated with chocolate icing and festive sprinkles.

Last year’s collection was based on the holiday film Elf, another seasonal favorite
The new holiday collection follows the company’s spooky Halloween ‘Ghostbusters’ collection and the Barbie collection launched in September, which featured a donut depicted as the doll’s Malibu beach house.
The announcement comes ahead of ‘Day of the Tens’ on December 12.
On this special day, Krispy Kreme is offering customers the chance to purchase an Original Glazed dozen for $1 when they purchase any other dozen at regular price.
The festive collection ‘Merry Grinchmas Donut Collection’ is only available until December 24th.
Some grocery stores will carry Krispy Kreme’s new holiday collection and return favorites in six-packs and dozens.
