Troy Aikman sparks concern from NFL fans with latest appearance on Monday Night Football
Troy Aikman has sparked concern among fans when he appeared on Monday Night Football with what appeared to be bruised eyelids.
Fans noticed that the Hall of Famer – a color commentator for ESPN – had spots around his eyes and what appeared to be dried blood.
“Did anyone else notice the bruises on Troy Aikman’s eyes and eyelids?” someone on X asked.
“Why does Troy Aikman always have bloodshot eyes?” said another.
“I don’t understand anything Troy Aikman is saying because I can’t stop staring at his eyelids that look like they’re bleeding,” a third fan added.

There appeared to be dried blood on Aikman’s eyelids when he appeared on ESPN
Aikman continued calling the game between the Ravens and Chargers as usual.

In an interview this fall with The AthleticsAikman detailed that he hit “rock bottom” during the end of his second marriage.
‘A failure. That was my lowest point,” the Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback said of the marriage.
