Colorado amber alert for boy, seven, abducted by ‘dangerous’ woman

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation has issued an Amber Alert for a seven-year-old boy who was allegedly abducted by a “dangerous” woman who shot the boy’s father.

Crystal Denmon, 26, shot a man around 6 a.m. Monday, Lakewood police allege CBS News.

The victim was then taken to a hospital and while officers investigated the shooting, they noticed the victim’s son, seven-year-old Uriah Saye Jr., was missing.

Saye Jr. and Denmon were last seen together in the Cheraw area around 12:50 a.m. on Monday, authorities said.

She was driving a white 2012 Ford Focus with temporary Colorado license plate number 6812186.

Denmon is described as a black woman who is 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, while Saye Jr. is described as black, 4 feet tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds. with black hair and brown eyes.

She is not the child’s mother and her relationship with the child remains unclear.

The condition of the shooting victim was also unclear Monday evening.

But authorities have warned that Denmon is armed and dangerous, and are urging anyone who spots her or the child to call Lakewood police and not engage her themselves.
