As the pair discussed faith, GK asked Richard, “Did you find it quite difficult being gay and doing that job?”
Richard admitted, “No, not at all. I never spent a moment in fear whether God thought it was right or not.
“Whether other people liked it or not, I’m happy with that argument…”
On his sexuality, he added: “I wasn’t the first either. Sometimes I look at documents from the early church, or the church from the Middle Ages, and I think: so gay.’
GK admitted in the Bush Telegraph: ‘I came into this jungle perhaps not knowing who I would associate with here or who I would be close to, and never in a million years if you told me I could do the best get along with a Reverend, I would have believed you.
“But he’s honest…I think he might be my favorite person here.”
During their conversation, GK asked Richard who is the most interesting person he thinks he has met. Richard replied, “I think I’m looking at her.”
Days earlier, GK opened up about her relationship with Lioness, Ella Rutherford, and even dropped a subtle reminder of her to the I’m a Celeb camp.

A sweet dedication to the Ipswitch football star, 24, on GK Barry’s nails was revealed when she had a small white E on the fingernail where a wedding ring would fit.
Before heading into the jungle, GK got a set of French nails and asked the manicurist to paint an E for Ella on them.
GK opened up about their relationship with her I’m A Celebrity campmates on Tuesday night’s episode.
The social media star said: ‘Obviously I’d been online pretending I’d slept with girls or whatever, but I’d only dated guys.
‘It was by accident that I found Ella, through a mutual friend, and then I really liked her the first day I met her, but I never told my parents.
“I would have said, ‘Oh, I’m just going to my friend Ella’ or ‘I’m staying with Ella,’ so they would have heard her name.”
After her parents visited London from Cambridge and saw them together, they asked who Ella was and Grace confessed, “Oh. she is my friend’. They just love her, they’ve never had a problem with it.’
She added, “To be honest, I feel like the cabinet is made of glass. But they’ve always said whoever you end up with, we don’t care, boy or girl, we don’t care, as long as they’re not crazy.”

The pair were introduced by Gogglebox’s Joe Baggs and on how they met, Grace said: ‘So my version of events. Joe Baggs had a party. [Billy was] the only straight man there, [I] launched myself at him. Since then it’s been history.’
The couple split last year and Grace spoke on Young Filly’s about coming out as a lesbian. She said: ‘I feel like I’ve been very wrong with men.
‘I don’t like men anymore. I’m never going back to a man again. God forbid.
‘Yes, I just like it. I just love it. I feel like I have spring in my step. I feel like I’m glowing. It’s the lesbian glow. I got it. And yes, that’s my life update.’
