Drake confirms Australian tour for February – as the US rapper reveals the three major cities he plans to visit
Drake has confirmed he will be coming to Australia in 2025 for a tour that will run from February 9 to March.
The American rapper, 38, sent fans wild when he announced the news this week during an Instagram livestream with Canadian streamer XQC.
He said he was calling the tour the Anita Max Wynn Tour, the alter ego he introduced online last December, and that he had only three stops planned so far.
‘For everyone watching from Australia, I will be returning to Australia on February 9 for the first time in eight years. I’m coming back to Australia on tour,” he said.
“Funnily enough, it’s actually called the Anita Max Wynn Tour,” Drake added, revealing that Melbourne, Sydney and the Gold Coast were the only planned stops.
Anita Max Wynn is the alter ego of Drake’s cartoon character who styles herself in a pink and yellow outfit with a bob haircut and glasses.

He often uses the pseudonym and caricature as a gambling mascot, with Anita Max Wynn sounding like the popular gambling term ‘I need a max win’.
It comes after Drake sent his Australian fans wild earlier this month when he dropped a huge hint that he would soon be announcing a Down Under tour.
The Canadian rapper took to Instagram to post a photo of himself posing in front of the Sydney Opera House when he last toured the country in 2017.
He captioned the image with “It’s been seven years,” alongside several eye emojis, teasing a possible upcoming music tour.
Live music website Whatslively – a platform known for accurately predicting tour announcements – said it was positive that Drake would announce a tour ‘soon’.
“We predict these shows will take place in early to mid 2025,” the website said.
Months earlier, 104.7 Triple M Breakfast Show Roo, Ditts & Loz predicted that Drake could arrive in Adelaide this month.
The Hotline Bling hitmaker was rumored to be coming to South Africa around the same time as the Vailo Adelaide 500 supercar event, which takes place from November 14 to 17.

“The hotel rooms are booked… he has more rooms than a normal artist,” said Mark “Roo” Ricciuto.
“I don’t know if he’s doing the Vailo, but he’s coming to Adelaide at the same time… it coincides at the same time,” he added.
“There’s a lot of hotel rooms booked, so we’re pretty sure this is happening,” says Roo’s co-host, Chris “Ditts” Dittmar.
While the radio stars didn’t mention the numbers on Drake’s entourage, co-host Laura “Loz” O’Callaghan teased that it was significant.
‘A lot of people come to him. “If those numbers are correct, I am very concerned,” she said.
However, it appears that these predictions are slightly off as Drake is not currently in Australia.
