A host of celebrities gathered on The Strip on Saturday evening as Max Verstappen chased world championship glory at the Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Ludacris, Paul Mescal, Sylvester Stallone, Mark Wahlberg and John Legend were among the A-listers spotted on race night in Sin City.

Las Vegas is the latest race on the Formula 1 schedule and big names have taken the opportunity to enjoy the action.

On Friday evening, Rory McIlroy, singer-songwriter Adele and Olympic champion Noah Lyles were spotted during qualifying, as George Russell secured pole position.

They were photographed alongside Snoop Dogg, Jared Leto and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

Race day brought more A-listers to town, including Seth Rogen and Kevin Hart, while Michael Buffer – the voice of boxing – and his brother, UFC announcer Bruce, introduced the drivers.

“It’s my first trip here for Formula 1, it’s an amazing scene, the whole spectacle is really impressive,” said McIlroy.

The golf star is one of the major investors in Alpine, alongside Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.

“It’s an exciting evening for Alpine… the expansion of Formula 1 in America and to see how much this country has embraced this in recent years, the sport going from strength to strength.”

McIlroy watched qualifying in the Alpine garage on Friday, while singer-songwriter Adele posed for photos in the McLaren garage.

Lyles, who won gold in the 100 meters at the Tokyo Olympics, hung out with the Ferrari team before qualifying.

On Saturday evening, Rogen and Hart visited the Mercedes garage and posed for photos with Lewis Hamilton and Russell.

Meanwhile, Mescal – the Irish star of Gladiator II – spent time with Ferrari drivers Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc.
