The Bachelor’s Zach Shallcross proposes to Kaity Biggar AGAIN on their second anniversary

Zach Shallcross got down on one knee and proposed to Kaity Biggar – again!

The former bachelor, 28, took the occasion of the couple’s second anniversary as a couple to pop the question while enjoying a holiday in Lisbon, Portugal.

‘How lucky I am to be able to say ‘yes’ to you twice!’ Biggar, 30, wrote alongside a carousel of photos on social media that started with the two of them cozying up on a sailboat.

Shallcross reshared the post on his Instagram Stories and wrote, “I love you.”

The romantic proposal took place around sunset and included champagne and a new ring.

When Shallcross chose Biggar as his bride at the end of season 27 of The Bachelor, he presented her with a beautiful diamond ring from Neil Lane.

For his second big ask, the influencer chose a large emerald cut stone on a simple gold band.

Former NFL player and bachelor Jesse James Palmer congratulated him with “YESSSSS 8 8 fingers to go,” he wrote.

Former Bachelorette contestant Dotun Olubeko praised the couple.

“@zachshallcross is the real deal and I will fight anyone who tells me otherwise. Congratulations,” he wrote, adding, “@kaitybiggar, a heart twice as big deserves twice as many engagements.”

Olubeko’s fiancée, former Bachelorette Charity Lawson, backed his views, writing: “I love you two omg in a few weeks we’ll raise a glass!”

One follower questioned the need for a second proposal. “So um, two engagements, why is this necessary?”

The couple moved in together in January 2024 and initially planned to walk down the aisle in 2025, but Biggar revealed on a recent TikTok that those plans were on hold.

The couple celebrated the second proposal with champagne. However, their plans to walk down the aisle in 2025 are on hold. Biggar told her TikTok fans they are taking a step back because they weren’t comfortable paying the expected $70,000 fee

Biggar revealed that they would be paying for the wedding themselves and “that a wedding that is expected to cost $70,000 coming out of our pockets is absolutely insane and will not happen,” she told her followers earlier this month.

“At this point, Zach and I are going to reevaluate things and take a step back,” she said.

‘It’s clear that we want to marry each other. We just want the best location for the right price tag, as we all do.”

“We also have the rest of our lives together, so it’s like, why are we rushing into anything? We just take it day by day and love being with each other and continuing to build our relationship.”
