Little girl caught sharing intimate details of her mom’s colonoscopy prep on Ring doorbell camera
A doorbell camera captured a young girl hilariously sharing the intimate details of her mother’s colonoscopy preparation with her friends.
In September, Brandi Lister, 41, of Iowa, prepared for her first colonoscopy — a common procedure in which doctors look inside the colon and rectum to check for cancer.
The night before, patients must take a laxative that forces them to “clean out their bowels,” according to the Cleveland Clinic, which usually involves many trips to the bathroom.
Brandi’s laxative was already working when two friends of seven-year-old daughter Emma knocked on the door and asked if they could come in and play.
But the youngster explained that her mother was “pooping like crazy,” and her comical interaction was captured on the doorbell camera.
“My mom’s home, but she’s going to poop like crazy, okay?” Emma could be heard telling her two friends in the clip as they both burst out laughing.
‘Stop it, it’s not funny. She needs surgery when it’s over, it’s not funny at all,” she added.
“I can’t stop laughing,” one of the boys admitted.

‘So you can’t play? Has it started yet?’ the other asked her.
‘I can ask. Yeah, she’s already started, and oh, it’s bad,” Emma revealed at the time.
While chatting with the Today As the laxative took effect, Brandi explained that her wife, Sarah, worked nights so she knew she would be home alone with her daughters, Emma and Tommi, three.
She said she had “prepared” Emma for what was about to happen and warned her that she “might need her help” to watch her younger sister if things got bad.
“She’s empathetic and she wears her heart on her sleeve,” Brandi explained. “I had no idea she would be so open when the doorbell rang.”
Brandi decided to share the video on Facebook, where it quickly went viral, and has since been reposted by her local news station.
“I had to share it with the world,” she said. “My younger self would have been embarrassed, but once I got older, nothing really embarrassed me.”
Viewers were left confused about Emma’s honest confession, and took to the comments section to share their thoughts.

“Then the boys go home and tell their parents how much their friend’s mom can’t stop pooping and how bad it is,” one person joked.
“As someone who gets annual colonoscopies, I completely understand this! Hahaha, so cute,” wrote another.
‘I love listening to little children’s conversations and how serious they can be. So cute,” someone else added.
“Kids always tell all your damn business,” read a fourth comment.
A fifth said: ‘Nothing is sacred with children.’
