Popular singer Khalid has come out as gay after being exposed on social media.

The 26-year-old El Paso resident – ​​born Khalid Donnel Robinson – took to X (formally Twitter) on Friday evening to discuss his sexuality, hours after a Star Wars actress also came out of the closet.

Another fan shared a clip of the singer dancing in the music video for his song Satellite.

The follower wrote: ‘Then there was the LGBTQ song he gave us in 2022 but y’all will sleep a little. Anyway… hate that Khalid was forced to leave, but he didn’t “hide” it. He just didn’t have to TELL anyone.’

Khalid appreciated what his fan had to say when he reposted it with the caption, “thank you!!!! I never hid.”
