Average penis size by US state and the areas where men exaggerate the most

They say everything is bigger in Texas, but not according to a new ranking of penis sizes by state.

The adage would be more appropriate for Alabama, LouisianaWest Virginia, VermontAnd Utah in this context. Men in these states have the largest penises in the US.

According to a study by a medical practice, men in these areas had, on average, penises that were between 6 and 6 inches long when erect.

Customized surgical examination more than 1,300 men about their penis size in each state. Surveyors compiled the responses and came up with state-by-state averages ranging from 5.22 inches to 7.44 inches.

Average lengths were shortest in Delaware, New Mexico, Maryland, Georgia and Rhode Island, where they measured about 5.2 to 5.8 inches.

The findings from practice should be regarded as soft estimates. The survey, and many others like it, rely on self-reporting and on the honesty of respondents.

The researchers behind the study recognized the very real possibility that men exaggerate the size of their members.

To address this, the researchers asked a second question: How long do they say their penis remains fully erect when potential partners, dates, or significant others ask?

Although Louisiana was among the states with the largest penises, it was also the state that overestimated their size the most, as well as one of the biggest discrepancies in what they tell others, with an average of 0.92 inches.

Men in twelve states, including Tennessee, Washington and Alaska, underestimate their penis size, while Rhode Islanders, on average, underestimate it by more than an inch.

According to Bespoke Surgical, “Start by loving your penis just the way it is. After all, size doesn’t matter, what matters is how you use it.

‘For us, there is no such thing as a bad penis. You can be cut or uncut, have an angle or a curve, be a grower or a bust, be tall or short, or even a little bit of everything in between, there’s one thing we can all agree on – every man should should be proud of his penis.’

Following the five states with the highest average penis lengths (in inches) – Alabama (7.44), Louisiana (7.15), West Virginia (7.00), Vermont (6.98) and Utah (6.97) – Oklahoma came in at almost 6.93 inches. .

Next came Alaska at 6.92 inches, Florida and South Dakota at 6.85 inches and Maine at 6.78 inches.

At the other end of the spectrum were Delaware (5.22), New Mexico (5.36), Maryland (5.50), Georgia (5.69) and Rhode Island (5.83).

Including these states, only eight states’ averages were below 6 inches.

The surveyors found that 38 percent of their respondents were less than truthful when disclosing the size of their member to a partner, with 26 percent exaggerating by an average of 0.98 inches.

The surveyors concluded, “Interestingly, we saw no pattern or correlation between states and average penis size by state, although the Deep South was guilty of the greatest exaggerations.”

Although research suggests the national average is between five and 5.5 inches, Bespoke Surgery estimated the average at 6.41 inches.

They said, ‘But why do so many sources say 6 inches when researchers say otherwise? Well, many studies on penis size can suffer from volunteer bias.

‘Volunteer bias in this case could mean that men with longer penises may be more willing to volunteer for a height survey than men with shorter penises, which skews the data and makes the average appear longer than is actually true.’

The average length of the American penis has increased over the past thirty years.

Average lengths were shortest in Delaware, New Mexico, Maryland, Georgia and Rhode Island, where they measured about 5.2 to 5.8 inches. They were longest in Alabama, Louisiana, West Virginia, Vermont and Utah

A meta-analysis by researchers at Stanford University found that the average erect penis increased in length by 25 percent between 1992 and 2021 – from 12.5 to 15 centimeters.

The researchers collected measurements from 75 different studies conducted between 1942 and 2021. In total, they looked at the measurements of almost 56,000 men.

During the entire 80-year study period, the average height was 17.5 cm while fully erect. However, that figure rose rapidly from 1992 to 2021.

While it may sound like great news to most modern men, the researchers warned that the underlying cause could be more insidious and pervasive, such as exposure to chemicals, sedentary lifestyles and junk food.

Dr. Michael Eisenberg, a professor of urology at Stanford Medicine, said, “If we see a change this quickly, it means something powerful is happening to our bodies.”
