Three people have been killed and at least three others, including two police officers, have been injured in a shooting in Spain.
A farmer, a police officer and the gunman himself were killed in the attack that took place around 10:30 a.m. in the town of Villamayor de Calatrava, central Spain.
The three injured are two other police officers and the gunman’s 81-year-old father, who had tried to flee the scene of the attack.

The shooting allegedly started as an argument between the older man and his son in the early hours of Wednesday, before the younger man grabbed a gun.
The father is said to have fled their country house and sought help from a local farmer, who was shot dead by his son.
The father was also injured before the gunman – who was holed up in the house – started firing at random passing cars.
Police closed a nearby road to prevent vehicles from being targeted before the gunman set his sights on them, killing one officer and injuring another.
A second officer was also injured when he tried to help his colleagues.
The attack is said to have taken place after the gunman, aged around 50, got into an argument with his 81-year-old father (scene pictured)
The shooting eventually came to an end after a police gunman opened fire and killed the attacker.
Juan Antonio Callejas, mayor of Villamayor de Calatrava, said the road was closed before the incident was resolved because someone “fired at all the cars” in an area he described as full of vacation homes.
It’s not clear exactly what the gunman and his father were arguing about or how he obtained the gun used in the murders.
Investigations are now underway.
