Cristiano Ronaldo’s uncle has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Jersey, according to a report.
The incident is reported by JM took place on Wednesday in the capital of the British Isles, St. Helier, located in the south of the island.
Jorge Viveiros was reportedly riding a motorcycle at the time and was hit by the car, driven by a woman, and the vehicle reportedly overturned on the road after the incident.
He was then taken to hospital by firefighters who attended the scene.
The brother of Ronaldo’s mother, Dolores Aveiro, Viveiros was said to have been discharged the same day after being examined by medics.
It is believed he is now recovering at home following the incident in the center of the island’s capital.

Ronaldo has been on international duty with Portugal in recent weeks and played the first match of the break on Friday: a 5-1 win over Poland.
He scored twice in the match, helping his country to the top of League A Group 1 and confirming their qualification status with a match to play.
The Al-Nassr striker played the second match on Monday, a 1-1 draw against Croatia.
He now returns to Saudi Arabia and Al-Nassr ahead of their Saudi Pro League match against Al-Qadisiyah on Friday evening.
