PlayStation’s official Black Friday sale is starting soon, and it might be the company’s best yet, especially if you’re looking for a particular VR headset.
Announced via the official PlayStation blogthe Black Friday sale starts tomorrow (November 22) and runs until Cyber Monday on December 2. They include a wide range of savings on hardware, software and even PS Plus subscription time. The deals also appear to be in line with a Dealabs post from reliable leaker Billbil-kun that went out a few days ago.
The bulk of the hardware deals will be available to view and purchase PlayStationDirect and a number of participating retailers. That likely includes Amazon as well as Best Buy and Walmart in the US, as well as Argos and possibly Currys in the UK.
The biggest discount here is undoubtedly for PSVR 2, which the blog post confirms will be up to a whopping 40% discount. If that includes the Horizon: Call from the mountain bundle, then it is indispensable for PlayStation fanatics who have not yet purchased the headset themselves.
There’s also up to 25% off colorways of the DualSense Wireless Controller, PlayStation Pulse Elite headset, Pulse Explore buttons and even PS5 console covers. Naturally, the PlayStation Store on console will also house a tirade of excellent savings on video games. It’s probably going to be the best time of year to pick up some of the best PS5 games for much, much less.
PS Plus also gets a huge 30% discount on 12-month memberships – great news for anyone looking to move up to that Premium level for less. Existing members can also save up to 30% when they upgrade their PS Plus tier from Essential to Extra or Extra to Premium.
