Pilots capture ‘multiple UFOs’ dancing around their Boeing passenger jet flying over Egypt

Commercial pilots captured ‘multiple UFOs’ in night sky as passenger plane flew over Egypt

Video taken from the cabin showed several glowing orbs that the Boeing 747 crew said were “dancing” around the plane.

Captain Van Pangemanan shared the clip on his YouTube channel, saying the UFOs flashed, “as if to convey a message.”

“We thought the light was an airplane, but it wasn’t on our radar,” the pilot said. “Then we thought it might be a star, but the stars were twinkling quickly and the stars weren’t moving.”

In his video, captured around 5 a.m. local time after the plane took off from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, the UFOs can be seen waving or wobbling in the air before appearing to darken or dive into the cloud cover below.

Some have suggested that meteors from the Perseid meteor shower produced the lights, but Captain Van Pangemanan believes the UFOs’ movements were too “distinct” to be explained by a shooting star.

“The light from the UFO in front of us moves freely,” he said. “The UFO light shone long and moved.”

Captain Ruud Van Pangemanan, who vlogs about his life as a pilot of Boeing 747 passenger planes, emphasized that he and his crew members closely studied the strange light in the hope of finding an explanation for the unusual movements they saw: ‘What is it, in the air and dancing?’

According to Captain Van Pangemanan, the orb-like UFO lights appeared about 30 minutes into the flight after a ‘normal take-off and cruise’ – and after he had enjoyed an early breakfast in the aircraft’s cockpit.

According to astronomer and Old Farmer’s Almanac editor Bob Berman, the Perseid meteor shower begins in mid-July and intensifies deeper into the summer until the storm of shooting stars reaches its peak between August 11 and 13.

The apparent origin or radiant point of Perseid meteors lies roughly northeast near the constellation Perseus, from which the annual event takes its name.

However, the real origin of the celestial events lies in the debris left behind by the comet 109P/Swift-Tuttle, whose path crosses Earth every summer.

Considering that Captain Van Pangemanan and his Max Air Ltd flight were traveling roughly southwest from Jeddah to Abuja, Nigeria in their Boeing 747, the UFO would be pointing outside the starboard side of their cockpit in the general direction of the meteor shower.

During the peak of the showers in August, skygazers free from urban light pollution can sometimes see as many as 100 shooting stars per hour overhead.

‘That’s what we thought too [about] the possibility that the light was a satellite,” Captain Van Pangemanan continued, “because right now there are many Starlink satellites that were just launched by Elon Musk.”

In the mail to his YouTube channel, Captain Van Pangemanan opened the floor to his fans to help solve the mystery and asked: “Please find out for yourself, maybe you can identify this flying object.”

“Guys, this is not a joke, or a ‘photo’ that was taken,” witness and pilot Captain Ruud Van Pangemanan said in his video. ‘This is my experience of seeing something strange’

The pilot and vlogger also provided some additional details about the timing of the sighting, stating that it occurred 30 minutes after takeoff.

In the comments below his YouTube post, other pilots chimed in with their own stories of seeing similarly creepy UFOs while on duty.

“I used to fly the 747. I witnessed the same kind of light flying over the Sea of Japan on the way to Korea,” one pilot, named Paul Bishopsaid.

“A month later, another pilot told me he had seen the same thing over the Pacific Ocean and another said he had seen it over Canada,” he added.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Captain Van Pangemanan for more information about the sighting and will update this article when they respond.

According to his Instagram account, the pilot has 32 years of flying experience and has more than 130,000 followers.
