Horse trainer who had months-long affair with Teddi Mellencamp posts groveling message to jilted partner
The horse trainer at the center of the scandalous affair with former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp has sent a fawning message to his partner, Karli Postel, saying he loves her just days after his infidelity made headlines.
On Wednesday, it was revealed by DailyMail.com that Mellencamp had a months-long affair with German-born horse trainer Simon Schröeder behind the backs of both their partners.
To make matters worse, the couple was even together in Florida during Postel had given birth to her and Schröeder’s second child California, and Mellencamp’s husband of 13 years, Edwin Arroyave, had no idea.
Now it appears Schröeder is trying to get back into Postel’s good graces, as he posted a photo of them smiling next to each other via his Instagram Stories on Thursday evening.
“I love you Karli,” the horse trainer wrote in white cursive above the photo.
He even went so far as to tag Postel in the story.
And just a few hours later the photo was already on its way to the Bravo Real Housewives Reddit pagewhere many fans couldn’t believe their eyes.
“If there’s one thing men have, it’s pure courage,” one person wrote.

Earlier this week, a source revealed the sordid details of the affair to DailyMail.com, explaining that the pair had already been caught once and promising it ‘wouldn’t happen again’.
The news comes after Mellencamp filed for divorce earlier this month.
“Karli found it suspicious that her husband was in Florida when she was in labor,” the source told DailyMail.com.
‘When Simon returned, Karli found text messages on Simon’s phone that exposed the affair. She confronted Simon and Teddi about it and they confessed. Teddi promised it wouldn’t happen again.
“Karli didn’t tell Edwin when she found out. She was willing to give Simon another chance and stayed with him. But last month Karli found evidence that the affair was still ongoing and had become ’emotional’.

The source claims that Mellencamp decided to file for divorce after she became involved in the affair.

Mellencamp and Arroyave are now feuding over their spouses’ support during their contentious divorce battle.
The TV star had filed for primary custody of their three children — Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 4 — with “reasonable and frequent visitation” for Arroyave in her divorce filing, which she filed last week and announced a day later. November 2.
According to legal documents, Arroyave is contesting joint physical and legal custody of their minor children.

After it emerged that Mellencamp and Schröeder had a “month-long affair,” DailyMail.com revealed that Schröeder’s then-wife filed to have their marriage annulled in 2023 because he was legally married to someone else.
Documents filed by Postel in Ventura Superior Court in January 2023 show that she cited bigamy as a reason to declare their marriage legally invalid.
