Newcastle star Joelinton’s house is burgled AGAIN just months after first raid… as Brazilian begs for a ‘safe space for my family’
Newcastle star Joelinton’s home has been broken into again – and he has begged for a ‘safe place for my family’.
The Brazilian midfielder revealed that thieves targeted his home for a second time in 2024 following a raid in January.
He posted on his social media accounts: “Our house has been broken into again. For anyone considering doing this, please know that there is nothing of value left here!
“What we care most about is the safety of our family and our children growing up without fear.
‘We hope for a community where our children, and everyone’s children, feel safe.
“We ask that our home be respected as a safe place for our family. We just want to live in peace.”
It comes just ten months after Joelinton was burgled as he and his family watched Newcastle’s 3-2 defeat to Manchester City at St James’ Park last season.
He received a security alert on his mobile phone and immediately informed police that three men were in his Darras Hall home.
The building, where Joelinton lives with his partner and three children, was empty at the time.
Officers responded and a police helicopter was dispatched, but the intruders fled.
Joelinton is just one of several Premier League players to have been arrested in the last 12 months.
In April this year, the Northumberland home of South American teammate Alexander Isak was targeted.
Meanwhile, the home of Manchester City and England star Jack Grealish was targeted last Christmas as his family at home watched him play on TV.
Robbers took £1million worth of jewelery during the Boxing Day burglary.
Meanwhile, his City teammate Kevin De Bruyne was seen having his 70-acre home in Belgium broken into in early December while he was in Saudi Arabia for the Club World Cup.
