RHOBH stars Dorit Kemsley and estranged husband PK’s $7.5M LA mansion in pre-foreclosure after missed payments

Dorit Kemsley and estranged husband Paul ‘PK’ Kemsley’s Los Angeles mansion has been provisionally foreclosed after months of ‘missed payments’.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 48, and the businessman, 57, have missed “more than four months of payments” on the $7.5 million home, according to documents obtained by the American sun.

On October 16, a notice of default was filed against the Kemsleys’ 7,100-square-foot Encino estate.

Their inability to make multiple payments triggered the pre-foreclosure process, meaning the lender has begun the process of taking possession of the property.

The former couple can still save their home if they pay back the missed payments in one lump sum, but so far the Los Angeles County Registrar has confirmed that no refund has been received, the publication said.

It comes after the couple – whose son recently underwent emergency surgery – announced their separation in May, following claims they owe millions in unpaid taxes.

Other options include hiring a foreclosure attorney, filing a lawsuit, applying for the California Mortgage Relief Program, or filing for bankruptcy.

Failure to act could result in a non-judicial foreclosure, allowing the lender to seize the property without court intervention.

The couple bought the sprawling six-bedroom, seven-bathroom Encino mansion — where they lived with son Jagger, 10, and daughter Phoenix, eight — for $6.5 million in 2019.

The modern farmhouse features a gourmet kitchen, movie theater, swimming pool and basketball court.

In April, it was reported that PK left their Los Angeles home and stayed alone at the famous Beverly Hills Hotel, amid their marital problems.

Two years after moving into the house, the couple suffered a terrifying burglary.

Dorit was held at gunpoint and robbed during a home invasion in 2021 while her children, then ages 7 and 5, were in the house. PK was abroad at the time of the attack.

The intruders ransacked the house for about 20 minutes and stole all of Kemsley’s jewelry and handbags.

They did not enter her children’s bedrooms and no one was injured in the incident.

The couple is reportedly experiencing money problems. In 2021, the Sun reported that they collectively owed more than $1.3 million in unpaid taxes dating back to 2015.

In 2023, a certificate of release from her federal lien was filed, clearing her debt from her and PK’s 2015 taxes.

However, according to the Sun, she has reportedly not yet paid her 2017 and 2018 tax debts, with a tax lien filed in 2021 showing an outstanding balance of $90,269 to the IRS.

Meanwhile, PK owes a total of $986,887 in taxes.

The English businessman owed $230,965 of his 2014 taxes and $58,458 of his 2016 taxes to the Internal Revenue Service as of 2023.

He also owes $293,222 of his 2014 and 2015 taxes and $404,242 of his 2016 taxes to the state of California.

Dorit and PK announced their divorce in May after nine years of marriage.

She wrote that they are taking “some time” to “re-evaluate” their relationship in a statement on her Instagram.

‘We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage. We have had our challenges over the years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two wonderful children together.

“To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children, we have made the joint and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while prioritizing our children.

The couple has been married since 2015.

This week, Dorit’s RHOBH costar Kyle Richards tried to quash rumors that she and Dorit had a falling out over their alleged interest in each other’s estranged spouses.

She made it clear that while she exchanged messages with PK – who split from Dorit in May – she did not consider him “as a brother” but rather as “one of the girls”, she told Extra TV.

“He’ll admit that himself,” she added with a laugh, before confirming that she wasn’t attracted to PK.

She also clarified that any drama between her and Dorit was not due to rumors that Dorit was eyeing her estranged husband Mauricio Umansky.
