Former UFC star Tyson Pedro has been pictured saving a man who suffered a horrific attack in Sydney just days before his debut as a professional boxer.
The 33-year-old was training ahead of his highly anticipated fight against Kris Terzievski on Friday when he came to the aid of a man who had collapsed and was convulsing on the footpath in a park in the western Sydney suburb of Penrith. .
The man, 46, had fallen from his bike in the attack and appears to have hit his head on the concrete while bleeding from his face as the fighter attended to him and called Triple Zero.
Paramedics were called and the man reportedly suffered another seizure while being helped to an ambulance.
“It was horrible to watch,” Pedro – who is good friends with NRL star Nathan Cleary – said afterwards.

“It was scary.”
A friend of Pedro praised the fighter afterwards.
“Tyson is a hero. The man could have easily died, but Tyson stopped running, stayed calm and made sure the man was taken care of,” said the boxer’s buddy, who wished to remain anonymous. News Corp.
