Stephen King leaves X amid claims Elon Musk ‘kicked him off’ platform
Stephen King announced he is leaving X because the social media platform has become “too toxic” for him.
The King of Horror, 77, shared a departing statement on his account on Thursday, following news that the owner of X – formerly known as Twitter – Elon Musk, had banned him from the platform.
‘I’m leaving Twitter. I tried to stay, but the atmosphere has become too toxic. Follow me on Threads if you want,” he wrote.
