Influencer slammed after complaining she can’t get to Australia for a HEN’S NIGHT due to volcanic activity: ‘First world problems’
An influencer has been called out after complaining about canceled flights from Bali to Australia due to multiple volcanic eruptions near the popular holiday island.
Australian social media star Lauren Bullen currently lives in Bali with her French boyfriend Liam and their daughter Lumaé Rose.
They had organized a trip to Australia this week but are now unable to travel as Jetstar and Virgin Australia have canceled all flights due to ash clouds from Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki in Indonesia.
Lauren took to Instagram on Wednesday to complain about the flight cancellations, saying she had to find a flight to Brisbane to attend her friend’s bachelorette party this weekend.
‘Does anyone have any information about flight cancellations in Bali? I have a very important weekend in Australia,” she wrote.
‘I have to go to Australia on Friday for my best friend’s hen party. So I’ll just have to wait and reassess tonight or tomorrow and then somehow get a ticket because right now prices have skyrocketed to $2-3K per person.”
Lauren then revealed that she may return to Australia alone and that her boyfriend and their daughter will “have to wait until after the weekend.”
Fans have now criticized the influencer for her ‘extremely tone-deaf’ post after it was reshared on the Influencer Updates AU Instagram page.

‘I just think she’s extremely tone-deaf. She is financially stable as she has multiple properties and businesses…I don’t know if she wants us to feel sorry for her but this is a problem of hers that doesn’t really need to be shared with the world,” one person wrote .
“I mean people are literally dying in the country she lives in and she’s worried about a chicken party. I’ve been following for a long time but I had to unfollow,” someone else said.
A third person immediately responded to Lauren’s story: ‘Wow, you are such a first world drama queen. Crying on the internet because of your forty besties’ bachelor party.’
‘You are a mother now, maybe now is the time to grow up. Can’t handle this childish behavior, then don’t unfollow.’

Lauren then hit back at the follower, saying “she’s allowed to be upset about the idea of missing her friend’s event.”
‘It’s her bachelor party that we’ve been looking forward to for over a year. “I’m a bridesmaid and just because I’m a mom I still get to attend special occasions with my best friends,” she hit back.
‘Oh and also this ‘childish mother’ needs to take her baby to Australia as she has a very important follow up with her surgeons after the weekend. Oh and also a trip to New Zealand for my best friend’s wedding. So this whole journey is important.”
