Bachelor Nation stars Becca Kufrin and Thomas Jacobs have a second engagement as he proposes to her

Becca Kufrin posed the question to friend Thomas Jacobs earlier this year.

And five months later, Thomas, 28, got down on one knee to propose to Becca for a second engagement on the beach in San Diego.

Thomas proposed to Becca, 32, with a beautiful diamond ring during the intimate occasion.

The second engagement took place by the ocean, with Thomas getting down on one knee while a surprised Becca looked on.

It appears that the duo went to the beach to carve pumpkins, after which Thomas carved the words ‘Marry me’ on his as she carved a face on hers; there was also a bouquet of red and white flowers.

Becca looked beautiful in a white turtleneck sweater paired with taupe corduroy pants and big hoop earrings.

Thomas, a real estate agent, looked casual in a maroon jacket with a black shirt and jeans, and sneakers.

The lovebirds, who live together in San Diego, shared a sweet kiss and hugs as they celebrated their second engagement together.

Their second engagement comes five months after she asked him the question.

She revealed in May that she had indeed proposed to him, which she shared on her Instagram page.

The former Bachelor winner and Bachelorette lead captioned the footage: In the ultimate plot twist… HE SAID YES!’

The Bachelor Nation figure noted that the engagement had taken place some time ago, although she and her fiancé were happy to finally reveal the news to the public.

She stated, “We’ve been keeping this secret between us and close family and friends for a while, but we’re so excited to be shouting it from the rooftops!”

Kufrin then gushed over Jacobs, noting that she was grateful for her presence in her life.

“I’ve finally found my driver for life and the one who makes my heart laugh every day,” she commented.

The reality star closed by expressing her excitement at the possibility of spending the rest of her life with her fiancé.

She wrote: ‘Can’t wait to do it all with you Tommy, thanks for making me the happiest girl in the world. I love you to the moon and back.’

Jacobs also shared multiple images with Kufrin on his own Instagram account, noting that he was pleasantly surprised by the proposal.

‘The ultimate UNO reverse card / power move. That you keep me on my toes for a lifetime sounds great. Cheers to Bops,” he wrote.

Weeks after the announcement, Becca was called desperate by critics, something she talked about on her Bachelor Happy Hour podcast.

She said in the podcast, which she co-hosts with Michelle Young, that she’s gotten “so much love” since her announcement, as well as some negative feedback.

“People say, ‘She’s desperate.’ “I would never allow a woman to propose to the man.” “I would never do this,” she said on her podcast.

Add: ‘It’s like, cool, that’s you. But why does it make me desperate as a woman to want? [propose] to someone? If Thomas were to do the exact same thing in a week, no one would say he was desperate. It makes no sense to me. The logic is not there.’

Becca added that when she proposed to Thomas, they were both seated, so she didn’t get down on one knee.

They were sitting at a table in a park when she proposed to her, after asking his mother for her blessing.

Becca and her fiancé first met during the seventh season of Bachelor in Paradise, which premiered last August.

She previously came out on top during the 22nd season of The Bachelor, which aired in 2018.

However, the show’s lead actor, Arie Luyendyk Jr., shocked many when he broke up with her in favor of number two, Lauren Burnham.

Arie and Lauren married in 2019 and have three children together.

He dumped her on national television in the season 22 finale of The Bachelor.

They broadcast the raw, unedited footage of the breakup.

Kufrin later directed the 14th season of The Bachelorette, and she became engaged to Garrett Yrigoyen at the end of the series.

However, the couple eventually ended their engagement two years after it started.

She then started seeing Jacobs on Bachelor in Paradise, and although the two broke up during the show, they reconciled not long after their breakup.

They reconciled before the finale aired in October 2021.

The wedding date of the happy couple has not yet been announced to the public.
