Tulisa reveals plan to quit showbusiness in the next two years ahead of I’m A Celebrity stint

Tulisa has revealed that she plans to leave show business in the next two years and enter the real estate world.

The N-Dubz star, 36, will be back in the spotlight in the coming days as she takes part in this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

But it could be a last hurray for the singer as she plans to use the money she makes from the show to launch her new career.

I talk to Fearne Cotton about her Happy Place podcastshe said: ‘The music industry is wild, it’s ridiculous. I’ve already experienced most of it. I’ll be out in two years. Next year I’m going into real estate.

‘I think I’ll always come back for N Dubz. But I think the person I’ve become, I’m a public figure who doesn’t really like being in the public eye. ‘

Tulisa added that she has always wanted to own real estate and is considering opening some “themed rental properties.”

She said, “I’m going into real estate. I’m actually going to build some themed enclosures. So I’m a super fantasy nerd, everything like Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones.

“I’ve always wanted to get into the real estate game. But I was also like, some parts of it can be a little mundane.

“And I thought, ‘How can I do this but also be really passionate about what I do.’ So why not include something I’m super passionate about?’.

‘So instead of just building houses, we’re going to build themed places that I can rent out.

‘So yeah, when I’m looking for land I want it all to look a bit like a nature reserve, you know, huts in a forest, Hobbit houses. So yeah, that’s my plan for 2024. I’m totally excited.”

Ahead of her highly anticipated stint in the I’m A Celebrity jungle, Tulisa has given fans a glimpse of her stunning home renovations.

The singer spent weeks transforming her home into an eclectic music paradise, complete with mood lighting and a princess-themed bedroom.

While the star had shared several videos documenting the transformation, her most recent showed off the finished product, including her own private gym and even a recording studio with personalized pillows.

In the clip, Tulisa showed how she transformed the exterior of her home, with new back doors, a cozy meeting point and a bridge over a water feature.

The property was also packed with fun 80s inspired mood lighting, including in the hot tub, up the stairs and in many of the rooms.

In addition to building a private gym with both cardio equipment and weights, Tulisa also built a cozy private office with gray carpets and pink furniture.

The star also transformed her walk-in closet with soft purple lighting, while her all-pink bedroom features a large vintage-inspired bed, piled high with pillows and large windows framed with velvet curtains.

A pink glass chandelier hung from the ceiling, illuminating the room, along with fairy lights and a ceiling projector displaying the solar system.

She decorated the room with porcelain figurines, including a horse and Buddha, while a huge teddy bear sat in the corner.

Tulisa also gave a glimpse into her new bathroom, which was tiled and fitted with high-quality accessories, as well as a portrait of the late Marilyn Monroe.

It comes just days after she posted a look in her updated living room, kitchen and dining room – and teased her appearance I’m a celebrity.

Tulisa, who showed off the home’s “exterior facelift” in August, transformed the space by installing a huge stone wall, fireplace and neon lighting around the TV.

The screen showed a jungle, a subtle hint that she was heading to Australia in the coming days for the series, which kicks off on November 17.

As a nod to her spirituality, Tulisa had Egyptian-inspired drawings made and the Eye of Horus – an ancient Egyptian symbol representing protection – carved into the stone.

In addition to a soft suede couch, Tulia had a huge Buddha statue with a candle in the corner and a marble Roman bust.

The N-Dubz star referenced her pop career with album covers on the walls and above the wine fridge.

Builders had installed a huge cascading chandelier above the six-seat dining table, which sat in front of a mirror and took up almost the entire back wall.

Meanwhile, the kitchen had a marble countertop and skylights to let in plenty of light.

After relaunching her career last year by reuniting with N-Dubz, singer Tulisa was asked to take part by I’m A Celebrity bosses after being approached several times in the past.
