Why Cher will STAY in the US despite vowing to flee if Donald Trump was elected over Kamala Harris
Cher has backed off her bold claim that she would leave the US if Donald Trump is re-elected as she happily settles down with her young boyfriend.
The music icon, 78, has been dating Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, 38, for two years after first confirming their romance in November 2022.
Speaking to the Guardian last October, she said she would have to leave the United States if Trump were elected, citing her health as a major reason.
But now the legendary singer has decided to stay as she is ‘so devoted’ to Edwards and doesn’t want to take him away from his son.
“She was indeed planning to leave the United States if Donald Trump were elected, but things are different now than they were a year ago,” an insider revealed exclusively to DailyMail.com. “She gave that interview before she was so involved.”
