Kmart Australia shoppers are raving about a $5.50 item, with many calling it ‘genius’ for transforming wardrobes.

Tenielle Hamlinfrom Brisbane, came across the 20-pack of Flocked Hanger Clips, designed to convert a standard clothes hanger into a trouser holder.

‘Have you seen this yet? Genius if you ask me,’ Tenielle said inside her video.

The space-saving clips, which can double your hanging space, are perfect for hanging skirts, pants, shorts and accessories.

“If you’re always looking for those hangers with clips on them, or find that you never have enough of those hangers, you’re going to love this,” she said.

‘I went to Kmart because I needed some hangers with those little clips. (Instead) I found these clips in the coat hanger department.

‘In principle you can turn your regular clothes hangers into clip clothes hangers.’

Tenielle pointed out that the clips are designed for Kmart’s hangers, but shoppers may be able to use them on their own velvet hangers as well.

“Luckily I already have Kmart’s hangers, but I bought a few more because I feel like I’m going to run out of hangers forever,” she said.

She said the ‘Kmart hangers’ are ‘so good’ and ‘look nice’ in her wardrobe.

“They’re so cheap,” she said.

‘So basically you just get your normal coat hanger that you get from Kmart… You put the clips on and your regular coat hanger becomes a trouser coat hanger.

‘How good is that? Instead of buying a new hanger, just buy the clips and you can put them on and take them off or swap them for other hangers when you need them.

‘I thought it was brilliant… They’re the best. No more tops sliding off… I was really happy with it and I’ve never seen this before so I thought I’d share it.’
