The 2025 Grammy Award nominations were officially announced on Friday, and while artists like Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Chappell Roan garnered critical acclaim, others were left out of major categories.
Music artists who missed out on major nominations included Ariana Grande, who released her seventh studio album Eternal Sunshine earlier this year in March.
The LP entered several global charts and reached number one on both the US Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart.
We can’t be as good friends as Yes, and? are just two singles from Eternal Sunshine that reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 after the drop.
Grande broke records by becoming the first woman with the most number one debuts and having two albums with several number one debuts in the US.

However, Ariana received no nominations in the Big Four category, which includes Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and also Best New Artist.
