Mystery as five people are found dead across two homes in Minnesota murder-suicide
Five people have been found dead in a tragic suspected suicide in a quiet lake town in Minnesota.
Two women in their 40s and two children were found dead in two different locations a mile apart in Duluth.
At the second location, police also found the body of a 46-year-old man. He had died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
According to the police, the victims are all known to each other.
First responders arrived at a home in the 6000 block of Tacony Street, where they found a 47-year-old woman and a child dead with multiple gunshot wounds.

Duluth police said in a statement: “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of the victims involved in this tragic event.”
“A suspect was identified shortly thereafter,” police said, and officers “established a perimeter at his residence in the 4400 block of West 6th Street.”
When officers entered his home, they found a 45-year-old woman and another child, also dead from gunshot wounds.
The man was found in the home shortly afterwards, dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Duluth police said in a statement: “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of the victims involved in this tragic event.”
More details about the victims’ identities will be released once next of kin have been notified.
According to police, there is no ongoing threat to the community.
