Dragon Age: The Veilguard celebrates N7 Day with Mass Effect cosmetics
Without a new Mass Effect since 2017 Andromedathe responsibility for N7 Day – the fake holiday that developer BioWare celebrates every November 7, referring to the special forces rank that several of the franchise’s protagonists have – falls to the studio’s fantasy series through the latest installment, Dragon Age: The Veil Guard (via Kotaku).
After applying today’s patch, Veil Guard players can outfit their Rook with matching cosmetics reminiscent of Commander Shepard’s iconic look from the original Mass Effect trilogy. Two armor mods and a helmet await in a chest near the lighthouse base workshop, provided the Lace Harding mission ‘The Singing Blade’ is completed.
“November 7th is here again and as always we are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate all things Mass Effect!” A letter posted on the Mass Effect website reads. “It’s a little different this year because we just launched Dragon Age: The Veil Guard as a studio; so we’re purposefully keeping it lighter as we celebrate the game’s launch. Although things are a little quieter this year, we couldn’t be more excited about what’s to come.”
No one’s heaven And Lot 2 Players can also expect the return of previous cross-promotional Mass Effect content, such as the Normandy expedition and various cosmetics respectively.
Dragon Age: The Veil Guard launched on October 31 and received mostly positive reviews. Writing for Polygon, Todd Harper praised the game’s “friend group simulator” atmosphere, while noting that the combat was more hit and miss (Polygon’s Susana Polo likes those battles, so your mileage may vary).
