Kyle Sandilands’ shock reaction after he loses his driver’s licence on way to work following Donald Trump’s US presidential election win
Kyle Sandilands lost his driver’s license on the way to work on Thursday morning, but the shock jock was so upbeat about Trump’s victory in the US presidential election that he didn’t care.
‘You know what? I lost my driver’s license this morning,” the Sydney radio host chirped on air.
Co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and KIIS FM producer Josh Fox groaned and laughed almost simultaneously at Kyle’s revelation, without a hint of surprise.
“One for the highway patrol,” he announced.
‘And you know what? I don’t even care.’
The 53-year-old media mogul, who receives a base salary of $10 million for his KIIS FM breakfast radio show, said the US election results have exceeded the potential for anything to ruin his day.
“I don’t even care because I’m so happy Trump won,” he said.
“I’m so happy that Bitcoin has gone through the roof. The stock market went crazy. Everyone is going to win from this.’

Donald Trump made an astonishing political comeback and regained the White House after being declared the winner of the 2024 US presidential election.
His defeat of Vice President Kamala Harris marks a remarkable return for a twice-impeached president, who left office in 2021 over claims he incited an attack on the U.S. Capitol and was convicted on multiple counts earlier this year . of corporate fraud.
“Wow,” Jackie O said slowly in response to Kyle’s claim that a second Trump presidency is a “win for everyone.”

“And I don’t care,” Kyle continued cheerfully.
“That 14-year-old who can’t even grow a mustache who pulled me aside this morning got a little nervous when he realized who it was, but I didn’t use the power to intimidate him. I said, “er, here’s the license.”‘
Kyle added that he initially thought the sirens blaring behind him were from an ambulance, so he ignored them for a while during his drive to the KIIS FM North Sydney office.
Kyle said he “don’t know” how long he will be without his driver’s license
‘I [asked the cop] “Where do you come from?” “I thought it was an ambulance so I just kept driving for a while,” he said.
“Anyway, they were nice. I didn’t try to get out of it.’
“How long have you been missing him?” Jackie asked him, but he didn’t buy it.
‘Don’t know. I’ll have to time it so I can be abroad with my international license,” Kyle said.
Kyle then indicated that he has plans to return to the US now that Trump is back.
‘See! “I’m going to America for the next three months,” he said.
The Kyle and Jackie O Show has been an outspoken supporter of Donald Trump for years, with his son Donald Trump Jr. even appeared on air in 2021 to thank the duo.
“Thank you for being a great supporter of my father and my family. I just want to thank you for all the support for President Trump. We need it, and God knows, you need it there too,” Trump’s son told Kyle.
Meanwhile, Jackie O and news anchor Brooklyn Ross sparked outrage during their stay in New York City in September by posing outside Trump Tower, one of Donald Trump’s headquarters.
Ross captioned his photo with the words “fair and balanced.”
“You went full MAGA, bro,” one disappointed listener commented.
