Nick Bosa reveals no-nonsense stance on potential MAGA hat fine after Donald Trump’s re-election
Nick Bosa said Wednesday that a possible fine from the NFL would be “worth it” after he wore a MAGA hat during a postgame interview.
Bosa, who pointed to the hat as he crashed his teammates’ interview after a win over the Cowboys, told reporters that he has not yet received any punishment from the league.
However, it is clear that he will not regret his move if that changes after Donald Trump’s election victory.
“If it comes, it comes,” he said of a possible fine.
The NFL has a rule that prohibits players from displaying or wearing political messages.

However, CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones previously reported that the league would not suspend Bosa because of his MAGA hat.
He added that a decision would not be made until later this week, after Tuesday’s presidential election.
Bosa and millions of others got their wish on Tuesday when Trump comfortably defeated Vice President Harris.
The re-elected president currently leads the popular vote with 4.8 million votes (Nevada and Arizona have yet to be declared) and has captured key swing states such as Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
Bosa has been an outspoken supporter of Trump in the past, tweeting messages of support for him before being drafted by the 49ers in 2019.
After Trump’s re-election, he said election night was “fun” and that he stayed up to watch the proceedings.
The 49ers (4-4) will take on the Buccaneers this Sunday.
