The signs ‘anointed one’ Ivanka Trump has fallen from ‘First Lady’ status, according to body language expert
A body language expert last night weighed in on Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner’s stoic stance onstage at Mar-a-Lago, as well as her body language toward father Donald Trump.
Dressed in a glamorous blue velvet pantsuit, Ivanka joined her entire family last night as her father gave a victory speech, accepting his victory in the race to become the 47th President of the United States.
With her husband, Jared, standing next to her, the two took their seats on stage next to Trump’s Vice President JD Vance and his wife Usha, at the end, to her father’s right.
But although she was present for the victory, according to British body language expert Judi James, things were very different last night than when Trump accepted his first victory in 2016.
At that moment, Ivanka and her husband were right behind Melania and Barron as they took the stage, and stood at the front of the group.

“Melania is now being presented as Trump’s greatest asset and jewel in the political crown,” James told DailyMail.com
She pointed out that instead of Ivanka, 18-year-old Barron is now “posing for the anointed child,” standing next to his mother and father on stage and “striking an alpha pose.”
“When Trump became the 45th U.S. President, Ivanka’s body language behavior and her stage positioning defined her more as First Lady than Trump’s daughter,” James told DailyMail.com exclusively.
“Looking fiercely ambitious, loyal and fully in the game, she knocked Melania and the other Trump kids into the long grass.”
James noted that Ivanka looked like the “anointed one” in 2016 because her father’s body language “showed admiration and even respect for her” — especially since she was part of her father’s political team.
Now, however, times have changed and Ivanka’s crown as one of the favorite children seems to have been taken from her.
“Melania is now being presented as Trump’s greatest asset and jewel in the political crown,” James told DailyMail.com. ‘Her styling is corporate power dressing and her poses are confident and strong.’

Lara Trump, married to the future president’s son Eric, is also an important figure these days.
James noted that Lara seems to insert herself into every photo that features Trump, all with a “look of triumphant determination.”

“You have to look now to find Ivanka,” James said.
Relegated to the chorus line, she got stuck in the bottleneck at the entrance to the stage and while Trump once would have sought her out and presented her to the audience, she and Jared now seem to be expected to seek attention in the suburbs, behind Vance and his wife.’
Analyzing photos from last night, the body language expert noticed that Ivanka’s “nonverbal cues now register detachment,” and are especially different from Lara’s.
‘She no longer fully responds to everything her father says, like Lara does. Her eye expression seemed distant and a little sad and she was noticeably out of sync with the audience and other friends and family when it came to applause,” James said of last night’s photos.
“While others clapped excitedly, we see Ivanka and Jared standing at attention with their arms extended at their sides.”
The Body Language Rules author believes Ivanka began distancing herself from the family about a year ago, which coincided with her court appearance.
“Suddenly, the super smart icy daughter was posting photos that presented her, just like Barbie, in a variety of surprising looks, like ‘rock chic’ Ivanka, ‘cute, girly’ Ivanka and even ‘surfing’ Ivanka,” James explained.
“She seemed to relax and the normally tense-looking Jared almost relaxed next to her.”

Jared and Ivanka were also on the other side last night, as were the rest of their family members, when they took the stage
And it looks like James is on to something here when it comes to Ivanka’s disappearance from the public eye and a new persona, as she was noticeably absent from his campaign trail this year.
But last night, Jared still looked “stiff,” while Ivanka “seemed more generous with her emotional revelations,” James noted.
Some of these emotions include fear and even sadness.
“There is one photo where she is looking toward her father with an expression of fear, and another where her eye expression seems to suggest sadness,” James claimed of Trump’s daughter.
“Her smile looks softer now, especially next to Jared’s rictus grin,” she continued.
This softer look is also reflected in Ivanka’s styling and outfit – with one aspect of her appearance even looking ‘out of place’.
“No more political color block dresses, here she has opted for soft blue velvet combined with satin,” said James.
“Her hair may fall over one shoulder and her red lipstick seems out of place in the political arena.”

Just hours before the election, Ivanka avoided any political talk and instead took to Instagram to share a list of sixteen lessons she’s learned since her 43rd birthday.
Some of these lessons include that family and friends “are everything,” as she urged her followers to “forgive people” and understand that “everyone is a teacher.”
Conspicuously absent during the campaign, she also posted photos of flowers and horses this weekend and on Monday.
