Travis Kelce reveals why he’s playing so well after Chiefs star’s dismal start to the season
Travis Kelce attributed his recent surge for the Chiefs to his teammates, especially quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
While the defending Super Bowl champions have yet to lose this season, the 35-year-old tight end hasn’t had the best numbers through their first few games.
However, Kelce came alive in their recent wins over Las Vegas and Tampa Bay with 24 catches after combining for 28 in their first six. He also scored his only touchdown of the season against the Raiders.
“I don’t know, I think we were just playing a game and Pat found me,” Travis said on the radio. New heights podcast at the request of brother Jason. ‘I have discovered open spaces, and Pat is confident in them. [We’ve] was just on the same page, man.”
“I didn’t think we were ever off the same page,” he continued. “I think Pat’s throwing me the ball right now.”

Jason also paraphrased Mahomes, claiming he “didn’t even realize it [Travis] had that many catches in Monday’s 30-24 win over Tampa Bay.
