Kmart Australia shoppers race to buy a $40 summer ‘must-have’ for camping: ‘Best deal I’ve seen’
Shoppers are loving Kmart Australia’s new $40 summer must-have item, with one traveler calling it the ‘cutest girls’ camping gear’.
Maddy Bockett, an avid explorer from Sydney, spotted the ‘perfect’ bouclé camping chair, including carry bag, for her outdoor adventures.
“Kmart has finally released the cutest camping accessory,” she said in her mind video.
‘I never thought Kmart would release something like this… I couldn’t believe it when I saw it.
‘As I knew it would probably sell out straight away, I used Click and Collect online.’
After placing the online order, Maddy went to her local store to pick up her new purchase.
“It’s super cute,” she said, showing viewers how easy it was to set up.
Her only concern was the boucle material, as she wasn’t sure how it would hold up to the outdoor weather.

‘I am immediately concerned about the extent to which this material can withstand outdoor use. It’s a bit fluffy and soft, but I love that it’s super warm,” she said.
‘Should bouclé really be included in outdoor furniture?’
Despite her concerns, Maddy said she is looking forward to seeing how the chair performs on her next camping trips.
“So far it’s been perfect, it’s held up really well,” she said.
‘But I definitely want to try it out a few times and see how it goes in terms of quality.’
Her video has been viewed more than 120,000 times, with some saying they are concerned about the white-colored chair getting dirty.
However, one person suggested spraying the cover with Scotchgard to repel liquids and prevent stains.
Maddy is an enthusiastic camper who enjoys camping
According to Kmart’s website, the chair has a soft comfortable seat and backrest and a wood-look frame with aluminum.
It is designed for use in outdoor activities such as camping and picnics.
The chair is four-way foldable, making it easy to store when not in use and not taking up much space at home or in a vehicle.
It has a maximum load capacity of 100 kg.
