Despite previously appearing on the pitch for Manchester United and hosting the BBC show Home Under The Hammed, he chooses to keep his family out of the spotlight by only sharing occasional glimpses of holidays and special occasions.

This summer, Dion and Cheryl took their little girl on a lavish beach vacation as they posed for photos wearing lift jackets.

He said the getaway was the “best vacation we’ve had” as he shared the heartwarming photo.

It comes after Dion revealed the most shocking items found in properties during his time on Homes Under The Hammer.

The presenter explained how cannabis plants have even been discovered while preparing houses for auction.

He told how sometimes, when walking through empty buildings, he noticed the pungent odors associated with the drug.

He told it The sun: ‘We go in and we go, ‘Ahh… you better not go in there.’

“Obviously you can’t get it on TV, but you smell the smell and you think, ‘Ahh, not today.’

“They’ve had pets or maybe grown something. . . anyway, I won’t say more than that.’

Dion previously said that he is now more often recognized as a member of Homes Under The Hammer rather than as a footballer at the time.

He told the No Tippy Tappy Football podcast: ‘I could be in the supermarket and I’ll be with a lot of older couples saying, ‘That’s Dion Dublin from Homes Under The Hammer. I think: ‘I used to play football’.

‘It’s the older generation. And listen, I’m more than happy with it. I love the show, I love the work. I love that I found something else to do.”
