Dejected liberal Mark Cuban posts on X saying Donald Trump has won election ‘fair and square’
Billionaire Kamala Harris supporter Mark Cuban has admitted defeat and congratulated Donald Trump on “winning the election.”
The elections for Trump have yet to be formally called, but the path to victory for Harris is quickly narrowing as swing states are still called red. Fox News has already announced Trump as the winner.
North Carolina and Georgia have both been called for Trump, and he is leading in the critical battleground states of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan, Nevada and Arizona.
Harris’ team has warned fans that she will not address the crowd tonight, while Trump spoke to his audience in Florida – and declared victory.
It appears the writing is on the wall for some of Harris’ biggest supporters.
“Congratulations @realDonaldTrump,” Shark Tank star Cuban wrote on X.
‘You won fair and square. Also congratulations @elonmusk.’

Cuban supported Trump during his successful 2016 bid for the White House, but ‘grew out of it’
Cuban’s decision to also congratulate Musk comes after the billionaire poured as much as $119 million into his pro-Trump political action committee, America PAC, to help secure Trump’s return to the White House.
Musk revealed he supported Trump after he survived an assassination attempt in July, and has since become one of the Republican candidate’s most vocal supporters and generous donors.
Cuban sparked outrage last week when he appeared on The View and criticized Trump’s inner circle.
He told the panel, which also included Whoopi Goldberg: “Donald Trump – you never see him around strong, intelligent women. It’s that simple.’
‘It’s just that simple. They are intimidating to him. He doesn’t like to be challenged by them,” Cuban added.

Trump’s campaign immediately seized on the comments as evidence to support its claim that Democrats, including Kamala Harris, despise voters who support the former president.
Trump’s national press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the comments were “extremely offensive to the thousands of women who work for President Trump, and the tens of millions of women who proudly voted for him.”
Cuban later apologized, saying he “didn’t put it out exactly the way I thought I did.”
The 66-year-old Dallas investor, who made his wealth in computer software, supported Trump during his successful 2016 bid for the White House but “grew out of it.”
Cuban said that every time you try to talk to Trump about details, “it’s never worked.”
But Trump and Musk’s supporters both appreciated his “gracious” – and early – concession in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
“Mature response,” Trump told Isabella DeLuca.
‘Said like a true gentleman, Mark. We have to hope they will make good decisions for America,” said another.
Elon Musk will join Donald Trump at his election night party at Mar-a-Lago and continue his aggressive campaign for the Republican nominee
Musk announced his support for the former president earlier this year following the July 13 assassination attempt in Pennsylvania, despite saying in 2022 that “it’s time for Trump to hang up his hat and sail off into the sunset.”
Musk and Trump spent Tuesday evening together as results rolled in after forming a “bromance” during the campaign.
During a Spaces livestream, the world’s richest man said, “I’ll be there with President Trump and JD and a bunch of other cool people.” They have a great sense of humor.’
Musk pledged last month to give away $1 million a day to people in swing states until Election Day.
According to the America PAC website, 16 people, including four in Pennsylvania, received the $1 million prizes. The winners were reportedly chosen at random from those who signed a petition pledging support for free speech and gun rights.
The offer was limited to registered voters in one of the seven states likely to determine the outcome of the Nov. 5 election: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
The Justice Department warned Musk and his America PAC last month that the sweepstakes may violate federal law, which prohibits people from paying to register to vote.
