Cardi B declares ‘this is why some of y’all states be getting hurricanes’ in since-deleted video as 2024 election results roll in in

Cardi B shared her reaction to Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris trailing Republican candidate Donald Trump in the 2024 US election results.

The WAP rapper, 32, posted and quickly deleted a video on Tuesday in which she told her followers: “This is why some of you get hurricanes.”

“That’s all I’m gonna say,” she added in the clip, which was deleted minutes after being posted on X. Cardi used a face-distorting filter and disguised herself with a big forehead and a goatee.

Her message came after the Associated Press called races in Florida, Louisiana, Texas and North Carolina – states hit by hurricanes – in favor of Trump.

Cardi — who recently delivered an expletive-laden rant about criticism for clumsy speeches at the Kamala rally — also addressed X with a simple message: “We need a Hail Mary.”

A “Hail Mary” is a term used in American football that describes a last-ditch effort to win, often with little hope of success.

Her message came as Trump secured a victory in the critical swing state of North Carolina.

In a major boost for the Republican, it was the first of the seven swing states that will ultimately determine the winner.

The result has sent Trump to an all-time high in the betting markets, with his chances of getting the required 270 Electoral College votes surpassing 90 percent.

And it caused ‘silence’ among Team Harris as their hopes now rest on securing victories in some exciting matches.

The day before, Cardi went on a rant about the complaints about her speech at a rally for Vice President Harris.

Cardi faced backlash for using a cell phone to read a speech at a crowded event in Milwaukee on Friday after standing silent for a minute when the teleprompter malfunctioned.

But in an emotional video posted to TikTok, the Grammy-winning artist slammed those who criticized her, having previously slammed Elon Musk for calling her a puppet “who can’t even talk without getting the words.”

“I worked so hard, brother. I worked so hard on my speech and a lot of you are talking about, “Oh, why are you reading it from your phone?” Cardi B said to her haters in her video.

“B****, I had to write that shit down.”

She went on to note that she has three children and started talking about how she sometimes rehearses in the shower what she would tell people when she sees them.

“And you know what, I forget what I’m saying,” the rapper said. “I’ll be so damned that I spent 30 minutes in the damn shower. But you know what, when I’m face to face, I forget.

“So you know, when it comes to this shit, let me know what I wanted to say, but I had to make sure I didn’t forget it, so I wrote that shit the fuck down.”

She further told her followers that they would still hear why the singer is supporting the vice president for the highest office in the land.

“Y’all gonna hear what I had to say and I’m proud of myself,” she said, telling her followers in a follow-up video that she “needs to give myself more compliments because sometimes I’m a little hard on myself .’

“But like you, I really did. Like ab*** was actually stripping on poles and stuff and I’m here.”

She went on to say that after meeting Harris, she realized “just like you, she means damn business, her.”[‘s] damn boss.

“And she’s really determined to win this s***,” Cardi B said.

‘She moves as if she has something to prove. As soon as a woman feels like she has something to prove, we’re going to fucking act on it, and that’s how she acted.”

The singer claimed Harris told her she wouldn’t take “no” for an answer, and revealed that when President Joe Biden ran against former President Donald Trump, she wouldn’t vote for either candidate.

“But Kamala, b****, you changed your mind and you said something that changed my mind – because a lot of people were acting blind to the s*** that was happening in the Middle East. And she handled it.

‘She said, ‘Yes, I see it, I see it and I’m going to fix it. If I can fix it, I’m going to fix it. If I can’t fix it, I don’t know what to say Because at the end of the day, I don’t run that country. But if it’s up to me, I’ll take care of it.”

‘You know what? I f*** with you,” the rapper said of the vice president. ‘I fuck her because she’s a real b****. She doesn’t pretend she doesn’t see it.’

Cardi B also lashed out at those who criticized Harris for failing to act under the Biden administration.

‘You have to understand that she was waiting for her turn. She studied, she couldn’t do much, but now she can finally do it.

“And she promised me, and she looked into my eyes like a gangster. She said, ‘Look, I’m going to fucking change this, I promise.’

“I was like, ‘Oh yeah, she’s a little gangster,’” the rapper said. “And I believe in her.”
