Barron Trump is pictured voting for his father in snap shared by proud mother Melania

Barron Trump has voted for the first time, backing his father’s bid to return to the White House.

Melania Trump shared a photo of 18-year-old Barron in the voting booth on Tuesday evening. He was conspicuously absent when his parents cast their votes in Florida earlier in the day.

“Voted for the first time – for his dad,” Melania, 54, wrote alongside the photo in a post shared with X.

Melania added that she was “proud” of the teen. Barron was spotted heading from New York to Florida on Sunday ahead of his father’s election party at Mar-a-Lago.

Barron, a business student at NYU, looked dapper in a blazer and dress pants as he cast his vote.

As of Tuesday evening, Trump leads Harris in the polls, but this election looks set to be one of the closest in history. His home state of Florida has already been called in his favor.

Melania and Trump arrived at the Morton and Barbara Mandel Recreation Center polling place in Palm Beach earlier on Tuesday to cast their votes.

Trump told reporters outside the voting booth that he felt “very confident.”

Trump, wearing a red MAGA hat and an “I voted” button, said: “It looks like the conservatives are voting very strongly.

“It looks like the Republicans have shown up in droves.”

Asked if he had any regrets about his campaign, Trump replied: “I can’t think of any.”

‘I ran a great campaign. I think this might have been the best of the three.

‘We did an excellent job in the first. In the second we did much better, but something happened. “I would say this is the best campaign we’ve ever run,” he said, standing next to his wife.

Barron has played an integral role in his father’s campaign by connecting with Gen Z voters.

The former president’s youngest son has not regularly appeared at his father’s side at his rallies across the country, but has played a behind-the-scenes role in getting former President Donald Trump to appear on podcasts favored by Generation Z and millennial men. ABC News reports.

Barron first suggested that his father appear on YouTuber and wrestler Logan Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive.

This ended up being the first one Trump appeared in in June, a campaign insider told the outlet.

Trump, 78, has since appeared on a number of other podcasts and even sat down with popular host Joe Rogan on Friday.

The presidential hopeful revealed that his son had stood by him in the final days of the election.

‘Daddy: take it easy now. Just take it easy, Dad, okay? You don’t have to go too far here. He gives me the good, he is very wise,” Trump told Barron.
